Born in Saigon, Vietnam and raised in South Louisiana
Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University, New Orleans, Louisiana
Completed medical doctoral training at Louisiana State University, New Orleans
Completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Christus, St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas
